Details regarding the budget, human resource, and other physical infrastructure of the program are as follows:

Budget

  • Grants received from the Government of Nepal through the Agricultural Research Council
  • Grants received from various national and international organizations for competitive research programs
  • Funds received in collaboration with international organizations for the project

Human Resource

Currently, the nationally mandated program is working with a small team of human resources comprised of two senior scientists (1 Agri-economics and 1 Horticulture), one scientist, one technician, seven support staff and one administrative and one account staff.

Physical Infrastructure

  • 20 ha of farm area including forest and ditch areas
  • A well-equipped tissue culture laboratory including general laboratory-building and two glasshouses.
  • Library and Museum
  • Office and Staff Residence Building
  • Training building with basic infrastructure
  • Computers, printers, multimedia, and photocopy machines
