The program follows the following procedures when conducting its research programs

  • Identification of research problems based on discussions and surveys with technicians, farmers, traders, and entrepreneurs involved in the dissemination of Citrus crop technology.

  • Preparation of research project proposal to solve the major problems seen nationally by prioritizing the identified problems

  • Proposed research projects are submitted to the Agricultural Research Council Central Office or other donor agencies

  • Conduct research work after the proposed research project is approved
  • To re-evaluate the best results obtained from the research in the farmers' orchards through external research program and transfer the technologies preferred by the farmers to the Agricultural Extension Program (Municipalities) and other stakeholders.
